You are very perceptive Summer . I never am satisfied because my ability is not up to what I see in my mind’s eye!

Re: Lockdown pictures

Beautiful picture, Muddy. Every detail perfect, bit, bridle, even the rubber guard on the bit to stop the bit pinching the horses mouth and a hint of the martingale from the nose band.

Muddy. Your Paintings and Drawings of Animals particulary Horses are equal to a profisseionl standard.
To price them at £50.00 is giving them away as Art Mateials are expensive and it can take many hours to paint one subject. Also the buyers usually have lots of money to buy paintings.

Artist usually charge £20.00per hour for their work
Perhaps you should contact and Art Dealer with Shop who will value your painting and may want to sell them.
They do charge a commission ,but get better prices and advertise them.
or you could get prints made which sell without frame from £15.00 + each.also greetings cards as well.

Muddy, do any of us ever see ourselves or our abilities as other's do? I am no artist or know much about it but having seen your pictures I can compare them with others and see them as professional and worthy of attracting good prices if sold.

Find somewhere that will print a couple onto canvas for you, retaining the original copyright, then put them up for sale as limited editions. You might be surprised. This artist, as far as I know specialises in Highland cattle paintings, plus others. Check out this link below for prices:
