Re: Bedtime?

I go to bed about 9.00 p.m., listen to the radio for a while or watch tele and then fall asleep usually around 9.30-10.00 and don't wake up until 6.00 when dogs are let out and given breakfast. We then all go back to bed for an hour

Very different to when I was in my early twenties living in London - lots of parties, very late nights, and even going to work straight from parties some times. Must have looked a wreck

Re: Bedtime?

Never go to bed before 2 am, even all the years I worked! I don't use an alarm clock either to get up. I waken up every morning at 5 am, although I don't always get up at the time now since I retired I hate bed and only need about 5 hours sleep, if that!

Re: Bedtime?

Of late I go to bed around 10:00 pm and wake up at around 11:00am. I am just recovering from some poor health and my body needs to mend.

Re: Bedtime?

I go to bed around 11pm with my glass of milk, read the daily papers, then fall asleep with the light on. Wake up a couple of times during the night/ early morning and start the papers again. My specs are in the bed somewhere!

Re: Bedtime?

I go about 10 with a good book and a couple of dogs. I wake up around 8 or 9. Who said you need less sleep as you get older? I`m finding I need more.

Re: Bedtime?

If I read in bed, I must ensure I go to bed at a more reasonable time, otherwise I find I start reading the same sentence again ..... the same sentence again ......
Really frustrating!

Re: Bedtime?

Go to bed between 11.30 and midnight. Used to read a book before falling asleep, haven't done that for a while now. Do wake up couple of times during night-usually because I hear Hatti padding about. Get up between 8-8.30 am.. If I stay in bed longer tend to get a headache......
