My children use biros but they do send nice handwritten thank you letters and I hope in time their children will do so too.

Re: Communications?

Odd Cassie, This also made me feel the inclination of surprising someone with a nice letter ........

(So better sign-off here now, or no letter - or anything else for that matter will get done)!!! LOL

Re: Communications?

I much prefer a face to face communication where possible, that way you can read a persons body lamguage and determine if the truth is out or if false words are spoken.

I do write letters to various family members who live abroad but it is not the same as seeing who you are communicating with.
I e-mail companies or phone them if I need to but you can not see a persons expressions on the phone or in e-mails.

Re: Communications?

I use all

Tho, try not to use letters where an email could be sent - for environmental reasons.

Re: Communications?

I hate handwriting letters and always used my pc. Before the advent of pcs, I typed all my letters!! I use the e-mail now mostly. My handwriting was good at school but when I started typing - my handwriting went out the window! I don't have the patience for it!!

Re: Communications?

I'm with Cassie on this one - whichever is the most suitable for the occasion. I'm not too fond of texts, but this is probably because I am not very good at it. A handwritten letter is always nice to receive - it is often from a friend and they are good to keep.
