Fiday a day for living

Good morning everyone

I hope that you all find time to enjoy life today, that is what it is for, not sitting around on a computer or watching TV, get out and see mother nature in all her glory.
Smile at everyone you meet and wave at passing motorists, they may think your mad but you know different, right!

Good morning all!

It's my grandson's 8th birthday today ..... the years seem to have flown by and he is growing up so quickly.

Not a lot planned for today, the usual household chores and a bit of shopping.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day!

Our second grandson was seven on Tuesday. Apparently he woke up on the morning of his birthday and said, "I am seven Mum, I can't believe I am that already!", Nor can I!

Chaos here today - the house is surrounded by scaffolding and there is muck everywhere - I have no front window and there are big men with big boots all over the place. On top of this we have our 15month grandson for the whole day and he is into everything. I hope we survive.

Oh poor you, I hate having workmen around the place, however good.

Thank you DS - the scaffolding has been up all week and they have just said it will be next Friday before it is done and down. Surprisig how vulnerable you feel when you know someone can walk past your bedroom windows We are having major roof work done and the big bay window needed replacing. Should have moved, but at least we will be snug when it is all finished.

Re: Fiday a day for living

Good morning all. I'm up early as usual. One thing I've noticed since retiring is that I'm still an early riser even if I'd like to sleep more. Our Fall rainy season is supposed to start today which may blot out the sun for the next 6-7 months. My new camera has not arrived so I missed photographing the season. I declare if I could reach out across the internet and strangle someone they'd be in trouble. Broken promises are whisps of wasted air.
