RIP Ennio Morricone

The best composer for film music, IMO. Died at the age of 91.

Morricone was a true master of his craft, he composed some superb pieces of music that have already become classics of our time ....

Yes, a great composer. One of my favourites is the theme from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly / Ecstacy of Gold by the Danish Symphony Orchestra. Enjoy...

That was beautiful Meg, thanks. I know that as Nella Fantasia, sung by Sarah Brightman.

Some people should be exempt from dying. He was a great composer. Spaghetti westerns wouldn't have been the same without him. That's a really nice piece Meg.

I loved his spaghetti western music especially this version of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

That's an excellent version - am a great fan of the Ukulele Orchestra. Sadly, one of the girls in the group died.

Re: RIP Ennio Morricone

My Morricone favourite. One on my shortlist of funeral music.

The actual song (Jill's Theme) in this clip takes some starting but it's worth waiting for.
