Hi again Folks,well the weeding in the garden didn't last long...sun went in and a freezing wind sprung up,so back indoors with a warm mug of Bovril...I'm staying put for the rest of the day.

Thanks May. It seems quite late for a garden programme to start but I do enjoy it. It is much more down to earth (excuse the pun) than the ever poncy Gardener's World with its Japan specials for example.

Beechgrove is more direct and just gets on with it which I prefer. Old Jim does mention 'Tatties' quite a bit though.

Tourists season starting here too in the SW. Roads are getting busy with caravans and there just seems to be people everywhere. They are called 'Grockels' down here which is a bit of a derogatory term. I'm probably still one even though I have lived here for four years and probably always will be.

Lol..aye We do love Our tatties up here and I never get scunnered of them ...have some growing in pots which will be ready to dig up in a couple of Months...new tatties with a dob of butter & syboes..Fab',

What really pisses me off is.... They have no idea how to drive on wee single track roads. AND somebody please tell those Yanks you do not park a bloody great motor home in a wee passing place Then set up a picnic table. Sheezzzee
