It's actually up to 6 (42 F) before lunch: that's our normal high at this time of the year!! So will be above normal for the first time in 3 weeks of bitter cold; feels great, especially with the brilliant sunshine. I'm enjoying it while I can, it'll only last for a few days, they say. Made it to the market and library: have the new James Rollins which I'm looking forward to. Leia was out on the porch for a while, first in ages.

Glad some of you are getting a thaw too, take care, all.!

Just went above freezing here in Florida. Now sunshine and suppose to be 58 degrees by 3:00. It is 12:10 pm now.

Killing frosts, DM! The produce prices will be sky high soon, especially orange juice, alas! It made it up to 9 degrees this afternoon in Washington!

I cleared the path of snow again today for about the tenth time this week

I will not be pleased if I have to do it again..
The next little annoyance is fog, with snow on the ground and fog in the air everything is white...

You lucky people in Florida
