Earthquake in Haiti

These poor people need our help. I know most of us have lots less in our new economy but we have our nice warm homes and if you could help. This is a list of charties we can trust and you could add more from the UK.

I know Azz, they were so poor to start with and now this. Pres. Obama spoke this morning and we are giving 100 million and tons of other things he mintioned one a medical ship they can use as a hospital etc. The money is pouring in but they will need every cent. You have to be careful for scams with a disaster like this so that is why I thought the link might help.

Meant to mention that a possible 50,000 have been killed as of today.

Re: Earthquake in Haiti

I was reminded yesterday of how much we have in the United States. My employer, Intel Corp., announced the yearly employee bonus. It's the biggest such bonus since 2000. The company made the highest net profit in 30 years in this recession economy during 2009.

Copare that to what's going on in Haiti. They have nothing, no government, no homes, no medical care, no homes. They are really hurting so it warms my heart that the world is responding so quickly. The rescuers arrived first with their search dogs and listening devices. There are plenty of heroic stories and miracles to go around. My prayers are with them all.

Re: Earthquake in Haiti

An absolute tragedy.....to have so little to begin with and now to have nothing....there are no words. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Haiti.
