'Fawing friday

-well thats how kids would say it! No trace of the white stuff here but had plenty of rain to wash it away. Be safe folks

Morning Christian and All Plenty of the white stuff still up here but it has started to rain and the main roads are clear. The pavements are still icy, hopefully, with the rain now on, it will clear up.

Morning all

We have a definite thaw here, still a long way to go though, I am hoping for rain, not what we usually want!

I don't know if I will make it back to work or not this weekend, it depends if I can get the car out.

Woke up to 37.5F this morning, can you imagine that after 36 inches of snow and way below freezing temps for sooooo long.

Hi all! Thaw continues here on my side of the Pond: bright sunshine, already 7 (44 F) with a promise of 12 by afternoon; it feels sooooo good not having that bitter cold. Tomorrow nice too, not quite as warm, than a cold all day rain for Sunday; will do my shopping tomorrow and stay in with the papers/puzzle/Catsey! Monday is a holiday, MLK Day. No real news, all's well here.

Good evening All! A definiete thaw here in West Berkshire, I'm so pleased to see the snow go although there's supposed to be another cold spell the middle of next week, hopefully not snow.

yaaaa no snow here, actully went out today in normal footwear instead of looking like nanook of the nrth
i hear sunday supposed to be positivly tropical so im gonna strip the beds and get it on the line to dry.
