Evening all-rain all day which washed a lot of the snow away-still lots of ice about though. Supposed to be raining all day tomorrow with strong winds. Sunday is going to be a lovely day they say...sunshine and blue skies and about 9 degrees-can't wait...hopefully I will be able to get out for a walk over weekend, seems such a long time since me and the Hatti girl have been able to do that and I'm in need of fresh air!!!!

Snow still around here - deep, thick and uneven, with thick, thick ice underneath, but I have to say that very gradually the temperature is going up and it has been raining today. However, they have given sleet for tomorrow, but a nice day on Sunday.

Sorry, Wanda, the day in celebration of the civil rights giant, Martin Luther King.

We get two holidays in February, his and Presidents Day .... and none in August!
