Re: Who shops in TK Maxx?

The funny thing is that though it seems a bargain at the time, I don't think there's one thing that I bought that I still wear.

One thing I would recommend are the scented reed diffusers. They have a fabulous range (much bigger at Homesense) and I've found Kenneth Turner for a fraction of the price on the high street. They also do lovely soaps and other smellies.

You must try to get to Homesense because they have a really big kitchenware range. I have a brilliant cast iron casserole pot from there at a fraction of the usual cost. But also lovely bone china mugs, frying pans, saucepans (so cheap!) and even the garden hose is from there.

I love their soaps, proper triple milled soap that smells wonderful and lasts

I also love their candles and reed diffusers, not for myself, but they make such fantastic pressies, they even do now and then scented drawer liners which mum loves

I get a lot of kitchen and homeware there, good quality without the price tag

I always look at the children shoes. Ive kitted the grandson out all through his junior school years in kickers for as little as £7 a pair and usually manage to get him good trainers for not much more

Annie, Thanks for that!
I have never heard of HomeSense, so l looked online and there are a few stores that are about 15 miles away from me.

I like Alan Silverwood bakeware too but l have only seen that brand in big stores like Selfridges, at extortionate prices! Maybe, HomeSense might have that brand?

It's worth making the effort to get there. I just love their stuff. It's a bit like Poundland they buy up excess stock or end of line. So you just need to go every so often to see what's there because they always have new things.

Re: Who shops in TK Maxx?

I do like TKMaxx and have had some great bargain clothes from them. A couple of years ago I bought a lovely woollen winter coat with a beautiful lining for £15. Cheaper than a cardigan elsewhere. I also love the kitchen section of HoneSense, always buy my baking tins and saucepans from them as they are such good quality.

Even their animal bits and pieces are a bargain. I bought a Kong forcmy son’s Labrador for less than half than what Pets at Home charge.

I love TK MAX it's one of my favourite stores for household items. I love unusual type artifacts and can only find them in TK MAX. I have bought the odd items of clothing from there and unusual household goods that you will not find in high street stores.
