Life's little pleasures.

Getting into a bed that has clean sheets.
Warm towel after a bath or shower.
Talking to the cat.
Cat purring while it does it's kneading the blanket thing at night.
Remembering what you came into the kitchen for.

I'm indulging in a little pleasure at the moment a nice milky coffee made with camp coffee I don't have it often but when I do I find myself sinking into my chair enjoying it immensely.

Sitting with a chihuahua on my lap in the evening snoring gently, chihuahua not me, a labrador head in my lap, that has to be heaven.

Two cats and a dog snoring, a mug of Milo and my crochet getting bigger, covering my knees and turning from a cushion into a blanket!

Watching the sunrise bringing the joy of a new day.
Walking through a misty woodland before the rest of the world is awake.
The scent of Roses and/or Lilac kissed by rain.
The purring of a contented cat - or two.
The warm affection of friends.
The wonder of nature in all her seasons.
Counting the stars on a clear night.
The peace of a glowing sunset.

I am with you with regard to the clean sheets Mr F I change mine twice a week and they must be cotton crisp and white

Yes, there is nothing I like more, than to slip between nice crisp clean sheets (sometimes with a heating pad at my feet if I am cold)

And I would give almost anything to have a little cat purring on my bed.

That would be all I would need of life's little pleasures..
