Most of life’s pleasures are simple and free.
I love to watch the sea and the waves lashing against the rocks.
I used to love to walk in a meadow of exquisite, fragrant wild flowers, sucking the nectar out of clover petals, make daisy chains, holding buttercups under someone’s chin to see if they liked butter!
I loved to watch the total solar eclipse, like the one on 11th August 1999 when l was in Cornwall on holiday that year.
The feel of my baby’s face against mine.
Julie, I envy you. l would give anything to have my Labrador and my Toy poodle back again to cuddle up on the settee like we used to.
