"Can I get" instead of "May I have"
Starting a sentence with "So,"
Regular interjections of "you know" into a conversation
The use of "their" instead of "there" (often a spell check error)
Using "you're" when it should be "your" (usually a spell check error)
Poor spelling, use of punctuation, capitalisation, apostrophes, paragraph spacing, etc. After a working life in printing and advertising and a former editor there have always been standards to be retained at all costs. This does tend to make me something of a pedant, nothing wrong with that though, in my opinion!
