I didn't think that was a good idea, but can't remember why now.

Hold on a mo, just found this:

https://www.thoughtco.com/is-it-safe...l-water-609409
That article makes not a lot of sense. Why are the "impurities" unevenly distributed between the water used and the water remaining?

Never given it that much thought,LQ.

Just checked it,it is half full.

So the water in it,gets boiled over and over,..I love a good cup of tea,..two tea bags in my cup, does the trick, very strong.

What you do is put a cup of coffee or tea in the microwave and wait until it goes DING. then you know it is ready.
I sometimes use the microwave realspeed, but if I want two mugs I think it's quicker to use a kettle. Also, with instant coffee, if the microwaved water is really boiling and I put in the instant coffee it can fizz up and overspill (I know I am a mucky pup).

Don't ask me - I didn't write the article, did I.

Besoeker, will you please get off my back, it is very tiresome!

I am sick and tired of you following me round the forum nit picking every post I make.

If you do not like my posts (or me), it is easily remedied, and you know what to do.

Same here. A great energy saver.
