Same here. Put some water in the pan and heat it up to clean it of any sauces or the crap that comes out of some kinds of bacon before emptying it and returning it to the stove to be wiped with some kitchen roll and then a smear of oil added and wiped round the pan to keep it seasoned.

"The blacker the pan, the better the cook" as the expression went.

I only ever wash My frying pan when I've cooked fish in it..otherwise it gets a rub round with kitchen roll.

I only wash it if it's got burnt or messy with sauce, otherwise a wipe round with oiled kitchen roll.
It's non stick Teflon.
