Re: Why Don’t Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Easter Eggs Melt?

Hi

The boring science bit.

Changing the formulae means the machines can be run faster with less cooling costs.

it is all about money.

Cadbury's chocolate is so sweet and sickly now. It's horrible and they keep bringing out new types.
Much prefer Galaxy .

Re: Why Don’t Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Easter Eggs Melt?

Hi

When my career came to an end, I went back to being an EHO on a protected Salary.

Not for long, but long enough to realise how much things had changed.

They had not changed for the better.

I do not buy Cadbury.

Neither do any any of the Foodie EHO's who worked for me shortly before I retired.

They and their Health and Safety Colleagues are a strange bunch, not my thing at all.

They did have a point though.

We all buy from Aldi and Lidl, much better quality and cheaper.

Agree. Galaxy is quality chocolate. The offer stuff is garbage in comparison and I go for quality not quantity.

I agree with the others that the chocolate has been cheapened for quicker manufacturing processes. It IS always about money.

Yes it's lovely, Annie
And Swimmy mentioned Aldi. Their mini chocolate bars that come in packs of 5 are really tasty too.
