Re: Forum manners

I think people are being over sensitive, saying they dont post as often or have to think hard about their posts.
Whats the point of a forum if you do that, you have to be yourself, thats how we get to know each other. Of course you will always get a couple of awkward customers, just deal with it as it comes or ignore that person.
Its so bloomin simple - aint it ......

I agree but it does get a bit less fun at times when every word is taken and searched and misunderstood.

Re: Forum manners

Theres a simple answer to that - tell them if they dont get the message by now - they will just have to lump it !
Its not your problem if they just dont get it - right ! ?

I'm sorry you feel disturbed, but if you find it hard to deal with members who don't feel like you in regards to 'forum manners' then perhaps you should become a moderator and set down 'your' rules and in turn drive members away. I have been a member on a forum where things were handled that way. Perhaps you would be happier there. PM me and I will give you the URL.

Re: Forum manners

I don't think that is quite what is being said. The original point is a valid one IMO

To the contrary, I think quite a few on here feel the same way going by past comments.

Re: Forum manners

Kal - you will 'never' find a forum where everyone is pleasing to everyone else !
Seems ridic to even discuss these minor issues because there is no solution
moderator wise - its something you have to deal with yerself. Unless - a person is a right obnoxious jerk that should be banned !
