Happy Sunday Folk.

Taken in Biddulph Grange Gardens in Staffordshire.
Made it up to Mansfield and back yesterday. Sheila's sister is much better and is expecting to go home next week.

Good morning all - a little late getting up this morning - was already light. When I pulled the curtains back, there was this huge mis-shapen ball hanging in the sky - its still there even now!!!

Good morning everyone. It doesn't begin with a S does it UJ
You are lucky as its not here yet.
Was in a giant traffic jam yesterday as they are putting new tram lines
into our city to make it easy to travel. Sounds good unless you have
to cope with closed roads and one way traffic with all the world and his
wife in their cars too. Buses were taking nearly 2 hours to do a half hour
trip yesterday. I wonder if all those car drivers will want to use the new
tram when its finished?
Hope everyone has a nice day. Going to put a chicken in the over today.
with the Yorkshires etc. Take care all.

No Sandy darlin' - t'was the moon!!! - which is just now setting below the hill out to the west of me. In the meantime, I notice, over my left shoulder, some-one has turned on a huge searchlight which is lighting up the Eastern face of all the blocks of flats in front of me.

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Good morning fellow members and a fine one for once though there is still a sea of mud everywhere.

The men are due anytime to do the flat roof, they should have been here at 8.30 but as yet have not turned up.
I do hate people working on the house, it feels like my private space is being invaded.

I will calm myself down by doing some baking.
Enjoy your day everyone

Morning all,

The sun has just come out at 9.15am, looks like it might be a nice day.

Going to the M.I.L's lunchtime, having an Indian Take-away, do her shopping for her and might do a bit of cleaning for her.

Have a lovely day all.

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

Morning folks, overcast here but quite mild still.

Just back from walking the dogs and enjoying a coffee before turning the compost heaps. How exciting does life get... Nottingham is a place I rarely go these days Sandy, but when I do I take the train in, the traffic is always a nightmare...

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better today,

Barry

Re: Happy Sunday Folk.

buenas dias all. Today we have a wet day with some real rain, well a fairly heavy, steady drizzly type but it looks to be set in for the whole day. Currently trying to decide whether we go out for Sunday lunch or not, decisions, decisions. In the meantime there is some ironing calling to me, actually I think it´s saying ´leave me until tomorrow´, more decisions but today I´m feeling very indecisive ! Have a pleasant day all.
