Re: Mud
Many years ago contractors were resurfacing one of the major 'link' roads and had a large diesel generator and diesel tank to supply the tar machine. Cat somehow got covered in diesel and tar - obviously I had to place cat in kitchen sink and wash him with detergent to get the tar and diesel out of his fur before he tried to lick it off - he reeked of diesel. Cat didn't like water and certainly didn't like being washed in detergent. Luckily I was 'entertaining' and I had help - I held cat down whilst my guest washed him down - it took a couple of hours of repeated washing to remove the tar and smell of diesel from his coat.Re: Mud
Abby and I have just got back from the first of our three walks on the wild side, aka Abbey Woods. Normally she gets to stand in the bath and washed off just below the Plimsoll Line but this morning...deep joy!!..Frost!! No mud just ankle twisting ruts. No doubt once the sun wakes up so will the mud. Roll on the Spring!Re: Mud

Well I went walking again this morning and encountered plenty of mud again. Why is it that the stiles are always surrounded by thick mud ?Re: Mud
