Re: If You Had The Room, Would You Consider Taking In A Lodger?

I did have a lodger for a year his rent paid my mortgage interest payments at the time . He was a clean working man . No problem until he met a girl then one day I came home and could hear them up in his room and my kids due home from school which was a concern . I did ask him to leave and wouldn't do it again . I like my privacy now

I already have one. My 52 year old Son. He's been here for years now.

No I would not, I like my privacy and I know hubby would hate it. Anyway I love having my grandchildren to stay.

I wouldn't have a lodger because I value my privacy too much. The thought of a stranger lodging in my home gives me the heebie jeebies

No he doesn't, but he does sometimes have a proper muck out of it.

Hi

It is £7500 a year Tax Free.

Why not?

My two are hefty very fit lads who do car spares.

They built my shed base in less than 3 hours and then put it up.

They had an impromptu Party here recently.

It was a bit of a mess, so I cleaned up the worst of it in the morning.

The men shifted two 1 tonne bags of gravel later on from front to back, and laid it.

The girls cleaned up the rest

I am content with that.

No. I wouldn't take a lodger.
A friend could stay if in need, but that's different.
I don't want a stranger in my home, for lots of reasons.

That must have been a "Hardcore" Party.
