A positive day

This follows on from my cv thread


My first call today was at a nursing home I’ve been going to for the last twenty years or so, it’s recently been taken over, in the laundry is a lovely lady from Poland, in Poland she was a qualified psychologist, we got chatting and she said a lot of things that made sense to me, if she had had a couch and sofa in there well I’d have been on it , I knew they were looking for a maintenance guy, so taking all she talked about ,I went to see the manager, who seemed a nice chap

Upshot is, I have an interview on Monday at 4pm, he rang the head maintenance chap who will be in on the interview, he’s from Sheffield but has agreed to wait until four, I don’t even have to get dressed up as I’ll be in my work clothes anyway, so we’ll see...
