Turned out they couldn't find anything wrong, but I had taken a 7 day supply of AB's given me by the specialist who'd seen me a week before. Think those fixed whatever was wrong.

Do hope your eye gets better real soon.
Sorry to hear you were unwell but glad to hear nothing was too seriously wrong. xxx

Gosh, Ullabi. I was so sorry to read about the wasp sting you received to your eye. Of all the places to get stung!

I hope you soon feel better and well again.

Re: Hi from hospital

Thank you all for your get well wishes.

Had a lousy painful night. Loads of painkillers and drops in my eye and they change the dressing every time I get the drops. I'm beautifully swollen and can't see a thing out of the affected eye, hopefully due to the swelling.

Can't say what the outcome will be, could be everything from mild vision loss to the worst scenario losing my eye.

Will be here over the weekend.

Having massive withdrawal symptoms as I can't get outside to the smoking area grrrrrrrrrrr.

Hi

Smoking is banned in hospitals here as well, in my local hospital patients are not allowed to use the sole smoking area.

You are very fortunate in getting a bed so soon.

Last week there was a 5 hour wait in the ambulance before getting unto the hospital and then a 12 hour average wait on a trolley before you got a bed on a ward.

You are being well looked after and the Swedish Medical Service is very highly regarded.
