Conservative peer Lord Farmer says £300-a-day House of Lords allowance is 'inadequate

A 'nasty party' scumbag with his nose in the trough isn't satisfied with the £300.00 per day expenses he receives and wants us to pay more because he can earn more 'outside' the HHouse of Lords.

He also claimed that there could be public backing for even higher allowances if citizens recognised that they are getting "value for money."
Value for money, my arse!

Simple solution, let him renounce his title and go `outside` the HoL to earn more.

To maintain a fair balance Joe, post the news that a labour MP has been claiming expenses for his children who have not been regularly staying with him.

I was going to say that too ,it just goes to show they really cannot think for them selves when we have to tell them what the best solution is .

The £300 a day may be paltry in their gilded circles, but if its not enough why don't they **** *** and earn a living.
I fully realise why they will not.
Networking. They are in such a powerful position to influence public life and indeed spending that their wealth is regularly increased by deals that may not be apparent to us peasants.
Google " Peers in Sting " to get a gist.
There is even a jailbird in their midst.
Why has he not been expelled?
Probably because of " There but for the grace of god go I."

Every man has to do that if he is responsible for them, they still cost him money whether with him or not.
