How can the catch be inspected when its 2000 tons of frozen
solid solid fish?? Or even allready packed into tins?

That's a question of chicken and egg. Point is, you have no reason to complain, as no rules are broken.

They were fished out Brucy, especially the cod as you say, but fish
stocks can recover quite quickly if given a rest, nwhich seems to be
the case?
But l did notice that Donkeywoman bought some cod the other day
that looked more like a small plaice than a cod, which is normally
a quite large fish? So it looks as if they are taking undersized
fish on board, which is not good for sustainability!

PS. All the harbours have become marinas like Folkestone Brucy!

Won't happen, as long as the quotas are not exceeded.

Re: Super Trawler invasion!

Some interesting information and views on the link below for those who, like myself, know very little about the fishing industry. Other than of course that our fishing fleets seem to be very much smaller now, by about 30%, with those fishermen who are still fishing saying that sometimes they cannot afford to go to sea to even chance a good catch. They do so as they need to have income to pay for boats and other necessities. From the information on this link it would appear that we export to the EU while importing for our own needs, that seems a strange way for any industry to be run:

Thanks for the link Baz, very interesting l am still digesting the data,
but so far theres a couple of things l have picked up! In one part
of the article they state that the fish stocks are not sustainable at
the moment, but they LAUD the EU regulations that have created
this unsustainability? I am still looking through the entire aticle to
further my understanding of it!
The only other opinion l have come to is that the whole set up is
extremely complicated and badly needs simplification?
I believe that is what Boris is aiming at!

We should'nt need to do that RS, The fishing grounds belong to us,
this is recognised internationally, except it seems by the EU??
The historic claims they cite are suspect, how can places like
Switzerland have historic ocean fshing rights??

You can determine the weight using the volume and the specific weight of frozen fish.
You mean those rules that are centuries old? British are notorious for not being able to handle change. So good luck with that.
