I must admit I did too, Annie, but according to this we were both wrong.
" You can claim state pension when you reach the state pension age. For men and women, this is currently 65, increasing to 66 by October 2020. The state pension age is then scheduled to rise to 67 between 2026 and 2028."

It says there, that is is not 66 until October.

I don't even get a bus-pass until I'm 66 - unlike Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland who get theirs at 60.
Talk about discrimination.
