Spreading them out, for safety?

That's why I have the foresight to do a full disk image before I installed it.

Still no problems yet either. Mind you, I got rid of the usual win10 bloat to get it working similar to win7.

Go into settings/privacy and disable all the permissions contained therein, especially Cortana. A bit of a screen capture albeit a poor one, but you should be able to get the idea.
