Norman Hunter

With great sadness I have to report Norman has died of Covid19 this morning.

Norman was a wonderful footballer and a true gentleman... a personal friend to me ... when I was trying to get my business off the ground he opened business doors accompanying me on client visits and making sure I kept on track.

His daughter Claire worked for me for a while I'm sure she and the family will be devastated today.

Rest in peace sweet Gentleman... you will be missed by so many

That was on the news just now. I don't follow football, but anyone dying of Covid19 is sad to hear.

What a shame summer. I am sorry to hear your sad news, He obviously meant a lot to you.

Another great name from the golden age of football and another life taken by this unnecessary virus.

Towards the end of his playing days he was transferred to Bristol City and was a very popular player there.

Another life taken by the dreaded virus.

I am a Scotsman but I remember Norman Hunter well. A member of Don Revie's great Leeds United side of the late sixties and seventies.
