I have managed over time to give quiet a few nick names and I basically only tell when pushed. none are rude but that depends in the eye of the beholder, sometimes, Hello Plonker.
My Twin Son Steve is about your age group and he is called..Yubbie...so all good...

As for "Collect":
Back when payphones were still around, you could have the person you were calling pay the charges, and that was called a "Collect Call". So, when you did this you were in fact: "Calling them collect".
I have no money, so don't call me collect.
It's a play on the old phrase.

her son in law is still in Australia about 97 years old..Uncle Les,but dementia has hit him now...You can breathe now, well almost my Steve is 52 years this year...and still got the long Covid19 and is ok really overall...Plonker haha..you deserve that title...

A bit of everything, but mostly guitar.
