Local Heroes
Has anybody got any experience of these people - anyone tried them, or know someone who has?They will do all sorts of jobs apparently.
British Gas are backing them.
I thought it might be handy to keep the website, but would like to know a bit more about them first.

Used them once for an electrical job that I was not qualified to do, posted the job, BG got back to me with a quote, electrician came along at the time and date specified, paid on line through the link provided.Excellent service, no hassle and a job well done.

Yes, seems a good idea.
I wonder how B.G. got involved in this in the first place?
Aren't these ' heroes' people who were in the armed forces?

It is, isn't it Tabs.
I have never actually tried them, but as you can see, our Rehab has and was pleased, so it is worth bearing in mind if we need a bit of help isn't it.
