Re: Football Cards

Cant say i did, though i had a few collections from the Brooke Bond tea series.

And wished i had kept the Beatles cards sold with chewing gum. My rugrat was fond of the Pannini football stickers.

Re: Football Cards

I used to collect the cards they gave with chewing gum and other sweet products, the ones with scenes from horror films interested me most, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney, etc.,
I remember my Dad telling me about the cards they used to have in cigarette packets but they were not about when I started smoking, I believe some sets are worth quite a few bob now.

My Dad had lots, I think my sister has them now
I used to collect the birds and butterflies in the tea boxes.
