No question that England chose the strategic route yesterday.

Nothing to be gained by winning the match so a sensible decision to just hang back. Also no need to risk any injuries to key players. They did the right thing.

Next few games will be back to normal.

Most geezers after a few beers think they would be good managers of England. I think we should leave Southgate in charge instead.
