Can we tell the accent of those from other countries? I went to see my mother today and on the way back dropped into the butcher just down the road. An African lady was in there and I heard Veronica. I just had to ask her if she was from Zimbabwe-oh yes you are very right. Every intonation was the same,even the laugh. As I left I said I`m sorry to say goodbye in English but I am too lazy to learn Shona. They both must have come from the same region of Zimbabwe?
