Good morning everyone, quite a whiteover frost here first thing, but a beautiful sunrise heralding a nice day ahead methinks...
We are having a large fir tree felled today so it will be a busy morning clearing it all away, although our boys are having the timber so they will be around to help.... I hope....

The others went nightclubbing, much younger than me, they arrived back with sundry others just after 4 this morning.
The girls will clean the house from top to bottom, the lads will be doing some heavy lifting today.
All in all a good outcome.

Good morning everyone after a heavy frost a perfect autumn day Not a lot planned, I trimmed Chloe yesterday which took half the day standing in the garage so I am having an easy day today.
I am waiting for an email to tell me when I can collect my 'new' casserole dish. I broke the lid on one of my large 45 year old casseroles and I was looking on ebay for a similar one when I saw a magnificent 6ltr Emile Henry earthenware casserole usually costing £120 for sale at a fraction of the price and in a nearby town. It was too good to miss and has only been used a couple of times, it is perfect for family hot pots/stew and dumplings and curries. Can't wait to christen it.

Good morning all. Beautiful sunny day. Don't know about temperature as I have yet to venture out of the back door. I have however got the brisket in the slow cooker and drunk two mugs of tea. Well you've got to start somewhere on a Sunday morning.Have a good day .
