Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
I took car in after Linden Tree and the man had left his computer with garage . Robert did it in about 20 mins but told me the part required is about £900 . He was loth to order it because the car is safe to drive so he just adjusted something and said that may work? The light came on when I was driving home but no juddering noise so we will see.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Glorious day here and they have turned the hay in the field behind the house, the smell is heavenly. Water butts are looking low again, but I don't think they are going to be filled up any time soon. We have a funeral tomorrow afternoon. A man of 60, friend of my boys growing up, - only ill a month. Great shock for the whole community, it's going to be a difficult day.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
We have lost a lot of village folk this year , sad to think we are the oldies now !Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
The Church service yesterday was very emotional. I was lucky to have a seat in the Church, sat down, looked up and there were John's drums on the chancel steps, the snare drum with drumsticks the heads of which were made from red roses. Needless to say I nearly lost it. The Church looked amazing, never seen so many flowers and his family were wonderful. Tea afterwards at the Golf Club which was a wonderful community occasion. Such a shame that it takes a sad occasion to get us all together.Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Lovely day here .Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)
Phew it's hot (I'm not grumbling!) Having to water with the hose now the water butts are empty. Keeping Rob cool is quite an art, but we have a great fan and that is going to be on all night I think.Thread Tools | |
