And The Next Bail-Out Looms

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/...Paschi-bailout

EUROZONE ON A KNIFE-EDGE

"ITALY has today taken its begging bowl to Brussels as it attempts to thrash out the terms and financing of a bailout deal for its oldest bank

Rome is locked in talks with the EU Commission over how it can step in to save Monte dei Paschi, which has an urgent shortfall of £4.2billion (€5bn).

A state-backed bailout could be in place by Friday of next week, according to Italian media, although the outcome of Sunday’s referendum could force an acceleration of the plan"

Sign. And some loonies still think the EU and the Euro are the best thing since sliced bread !

Time for all EU members to chip into the hat . . . . again !

Which is why we should get out as soon as possible, because we all know there will be more countries with their begging bowls.

I will save that post for when the UK needs bailing out.

nearly 2 trillion in debt??

Only 4% less than Spain's debt to GDP ratio with personal debt at record levels again.

Be careful to check yourself in the mirror.

We haven't left our credibility, stability or ways to make up the deficit.

Unlike the UK.

Re: And The Next Bail-Out Looms

Deficits can be tackled IF the government is willing to make the radical changes needed to achieve. The USA for example, owes $trilions. However, if Congress agreed to wrest back control of the money printing from the Fed Reserve and once again allow the country to print its own money, that deficit would reduce very quickly indeed. It would result in a US National Dollar being created as legal currency thus abolishing the Fed Reserve Dollar. The US government would no longer have to pay interest to the Fed Reserve for having money printed and the entire corrupt system of the fraudulent banks lending out money that DOES NOT actually exist could be stopped. They could also re-instate the former backing of money by some real asset such as Gold. Without these things the Banksters, who are unelected, effectively own and control the country.

The UK needs to do likewise. Kick out the Bank Of England, severely limit its powers and take back control of the money printing.

This ISTM is a rather incredible way of thinking about reality that touches 65 million people. or even your own decisions in life.
Yes the rich will be alright. They always are.
but for all TM's promises the poorer majority won't.

Do you go out, empty your bank account and then smile and say it'll be alright?
That sounds to me as if you live in a very wealthy country that picks up after the crises.

Personally, I hate big figures ... a slip of the hand and the decimal point moves into the catastrophic zone.

In 2015, the national debt of France amounted to around 2,314.64 trillion U.S. dollars. For comparison, the Greek debt amounted to approximately 360 billion euros that same year.

Give them their due, the French, I believe, are struggling magnificently to drag their Unemployment Rate to just under 10%. The UK is 4.9%.
