We need rain desperately 100% of NSW has been drought declared (governments don't declare anywhere even 'drought affected" lightly because it costs them money)

Where I live the average monthly rainfall for July is 51mm we actually received about 5mm for the month.

Its been raining steadily here for most of the afternoon and doesnt look like stopping any time soon.
Its really good to see it raining and freshening everywhere up again.

We have had hardly any rain since May just the odd shower that dries very quickly.

It has rained all day here, and not supposed to clear up till 7 or 8. Poor dog hasn’t had the garden to run about in, at doggy daycare.

My phone told me it would rain at 11.am and it was about 10 minutes late.

It has been lightly raining on and off since.

It has been raining on and off all morning, and is much cooler, about 14C, which is preferable to that intense heat.
