Good morning everyone

Hey, its just another

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAZgLcK5LzI

Dark, coldish and very wet here today with mother natures creatures only just arising which I dont blame them in this weather.

Plans for today are to laze about and get the batteries re-charged after a late night session yeaterday.Lunch at some local establishment then more lazing around.

Have a great day everyone and just sit back, close your eyes and enjoy

Re: Lazy Monday

Morning AB and all who follow...

Lazy day here for us as well after a weekend of socialising with family, an easy lunch and a leisurely walk with the dogs will suffice methinks, then feet up with a book for the afternoon...bliss...

Have a good day everyone..

Re: Lazy Monday

Good morning fellow members on this dreary Monday , the mist has turned to steady rain and it is quite dark.

I have been out to the shops to get the last bits and pieces to make Christmas puddings and mincemeat. The dried fruit is all washed and drying on tea towels ready to be soaked in brandy overnight, baking day tomorrow.

I am babysitting later so quite a busy day.
Enjoy your day everyone however you are intending to spend it .

Re: Lazy Monday

Good morning all. We had a very relaxing break away from Dublin City and I feel the better for it, so does herself, who loves strolling around the old shops always on the lookout for bargains, she's a devil for picking up funny little ornaments, (I forget where she picked me up, but it was the best bargain she ever got). I had just sat down in the train carriage when I realised I'd left my new camera on the kitchen table, I was very annoyed with myself as we visited some quaint old pubs (Where you can have a smoke in peace with your pint, if you know the right ones to go to) and met some wonderful people. I know I'm always saying this after a break in my own Country, but it's the people I really enjoy, with all the bad news and depression about they still keep their spirits up and always manage to make a joke of some kind about the situation, and they always make you feel at home, bless them all. There are plenty more Counties I've never been to and thanks to having the free travel pass I hope to visit more at every chance I get, sometimes the best places are on your own doorstep and you don't realise it.
Thank you Folks for your kind wishes, and I hope you have a pleasant day.

Re: Lazy Monday

Morning all.

Today is the first day of my `new life`-Linda moved in over the weekend

Far from lazy though as we were up before 6am as her first work appointment was at 09.30 in Great yarmouth-just over two hours drive.

Jenny will always be with me but it sure is nice to be cooking for two again.

Re: Lazy Monday

Hi all. It was very foggy here this morning, but it's starting to burn off now; still delightfully unseasonable. A bit past 10:45 A M and already 18℃ (64℉), not quite warm enough to open the windows for some fresh air, though. Rain overnight, not much. Waiting for my grocery delivery that should have been here yesterday. Basically, just lazing around all day.

OG, happy news! Jem, sounds like a lovely weekend, glad you enjoyed it!

Re: Lazy Monday

Very foggy here too and cold, had a couple of hours sleep after my night shift and then I had to take my neighbour to the vet with her dog who has been unwell the last couple of days. She made the decision to have him PTS which I didnt really agree with but I knew she couldnt afford long term medication for him and since I moved in here two months ago I have been really worried about him and knew he wasnt being looked after properly, due to ignorance more than cruelty and I wanted him to see a vet to get him sorted but I was shocked at her decision. Still if it means he hasnt got to suffer on in misery I suppose its for the best but its left me with a heavy heart today.
