Were you born 1946-1955?

I'm doing a project about the challenges of later life, why people can get depressed as things happen when they get older and what baby boomers can do to keep mentally well. I work for the Mental Health Foundation and I want fellow baby boomers to join in this project. Please visit our website: www.talkingaboutourgeneration.org to find out more. Look forward to hearing from you.

I'd gladly participate but apparently you don't want the Silent Generation ...

I'd prefer a little more to be explained on here as I don't click on unknown links for fear of downloading a virus.

Why is it always the young ones who get the help? If it is not the misunderstood and deprived kids of today it is the baby boomers.

Maybe we older folks don't get depressed or suffer in silence or can it just be as I believe, we just do not matter any longer and are an irrelevance and at worst an inconvenience.

I don't know why some people get depressed about reaching retirement age, I've never been as happy knowing I don't have to work again.

I think you will be alright with this link Mollie. It is The Mental Health Foundation and they are running a two year project - "Age Well". I've just taken a look and will probably join up.

I may look-but for now this 58 year old has fallen in love with a lady who had a great party for her 60th Birthday a couple of weeks ago.

We are never going to grow `old`

Life may kick you but as Linda says "it`s not how many times you fall down it`s about getting up again"
