Re: Flu Injection!

Well I would recommend them I nearly died of the last two chest infections, time in hospital on drips was no fun at all, worried my family to death and all I needed was an injection once a year to prevent the damage.

Re: Flu Injection!

I don't have them, rarely get colds, if I get signs I take Vit C & zinc straight away. I think the last time I had flu was in the 80's!
Now I've said that, I'll probably get both!

You obviously haven't had flu.

Re: Flu Injection!

I reacted badly to the pneumonia jab, couldn't use my left arm for nearly a month, so don't have the flu jab. OH has had for years and still manages to get ill at least once a year

Re: Flu Injection!

It won't stop you getting a cold, it does protect your airways and help prevent chest infections getting so bad you need hospital treatment.

I don't know whether to have mine or not.

Re: Flu Injection!

We always have our flu jabs - I've had flu twice in the past and I was so bad that I never want to go through it again. I was ill for three weeks and couldn't get out of bed let alone walk.

Neither of us has ever had a reaction from the pneumonia or flu jabs.
