If you are replacing a standard old dishwasher then move to a "drawer" style dishwasher. Preferably a 2 drawer one.
Fisher and Paykel are brilliant, we've had one for years. means you can stack the drawer standing up, no bending down anymore. Really convenient, plumbs in same as a standard dishwasher.

You will never look back.
