I am very pleased to know you are doing so well pixie, you must be feeling very happy to know everything is now as it should be.

Ann darlin' - give it time - its only been a couple of months - the scar tissue will heal over it all in time.

Re: Update on heart surgery

Ann darlin' - scars on my knees which were replaced in 2008 and 2009 are still visible now and some of the scar tissue is still slightly red in places. Your scars will eventually fade to a purple and then start to fade altogether - just give it time.

Re: Update on heart surgery

Ann darlin' I'm sure you have some make-up that can soften that scar tissue somewhat so that it doesn't show as vividly.

Re: Update on heart surgery

Ann darlin' yes some nerves can repair themselves. I'm having a similar problem down my leg where Surgeon sliced through some of the nerves and as they repair again it sends shooting pains down the leg - all part of the recovery programme.
