Re: Hearing Aids
Yes thats right, but they are not nice dainty onesI have digital ones from the NHS and they are very good but they do make your ears itch and when wearing two you can be taken for a Thicko.I only use mine when I have too.You do get used to hearing not a lot and it has got its advantages.Oh yes , when you are wearing your hearing aids people talk to you with very prounced wording as well, I have beeen known to say I am deaf not daft.Re: Hearing Aids
I am really deaf and I need a hearing aid but I refuse to wear a NHS one as ive seen really nice little ones in hearing centre but the cheapest one was £600 eeeeek! So i'll continue wondering what people say half the time!! Its awful when they turn round while speaking or walk in front of me lol I can hear they are speaking but ive no idea what on earth they're saying!! My deafness is partly to do with the continuous problems I had as a child with perforated eardums and glue ear then later on from shooting without ear defenders.Re: Hearing Aids
