Same with restaurants, only they will need a bigger hole.

Love to know where these pubs that are packed like sardines.
Every single venue I have used have been enforcing proper distancing.
Anyone actually been in one of these crowded pubs or just heard of them?

The thing I dislike is being asked to do something, which is quite logical, and correct but, for bogus reasons.

Re: Face Masks/Shops

It's probably been said before but, why don't the big stores offer everyone a free mask, at the door, and ask you to wear it?

Expense is hardly a problem as Stores could buy them, bulk, and it would, likely, cost them just a couple of pence per mask.

I wouldn't object to having to pay a nominal fee for one. For self service tills it'd be easy enough to add a page on the checkout screen before or after the number of bags bought.

Edit - afterthought...it's only a matter of time before some people will start to complain about the problems relating to carbon footprint of manufacture, or waste disposal of masks afterwards.

But the last paragraph still applies if the punter has to bring his own mask. It looks like a "one mask per day per person scenario"

In the event, health first, fix the disposal ASAP

Do you think masks will encourage shoplifting?
