Personally, if I had my way, we'd pay absolutely nothing after 31st January. If the EU want to trade with us on mutually beneficial terms, they'd agree it without our paying a ransom demand. Otherwise, we'd leave and trade with them under WTO rules whilst making trade agreements with other countries.
Hi

It is now the Boris Deal, he must accept full responsibility.

May has gone, end of, now all down to Boris.

He has promised much, now he has to deliver.

I think he's doing ok up to now Swimmy, he's stood fast and made
the right noises when Von Leyden & Barnyard were here this week!
The more l see the more l like!
The big test is coming when we tackle fishing, ( your favorite subject)
But so far he has been quite clear who's waters we are discussing?
Boris gets an A from me so far!

I saw something today about Nigel not having the energy left to
rally once more JBR? And also about converting the brexit party
into the reform party?
We shall see? as they say!

Oh yes, I was aware that, having achieved Brexit, he is now going to rename the Brexit Party as the Reform Party.

Brexit was, of course, the most important objective for many of us, but when that has been fully achieved there remain other considerations if this country is going to become a true democracy.

The disestablishment of the (unelected) House of Lords and its replacement by an elected 'senate' must be one of the most important, along with others such as the reform of our ineffective judicial and penal systems.

Boris has told what he wants. Von der leyen and others have stated that, in principle, everything is possible, but there is always a trade-of price to pay. For instance, for the city of london to remain being the hub of financial services, total access to fishing waters is the price.
David Henig, the director of the UK trade policy project at the European Centre for International Political Economy, said: “Apart from access to UK fishing waters and level playing field conditions typical of trade agreements we have heard little from the EU about their price for preferential UK access or equivalence, which given they are the larger market, could be high".
He may well be right. https://www.theguardian.com/politics...to-its-markets

I agree. One step at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
