Well, I'm still going to take a contrary stance. The Vicar of Dibley was amusing, Only fools and horses had moments of brilliance, series with Thora Hird were 'comfy', but none of these pushed the boundries of humour.Re: What's on Telly?

Of course the 'Vicar of Dibley' had to wait until women were first ordained as priests in the C of E (1994?). By then I was used to women Ministers in the Church of Scotland and the Presbyterian churches in Ireland (1969) so some of the 'impact' had been lost.Re: What's on Telly?
