Has anyone heard a Cuckoo call this year?

For the first time since I can remember I have not heard a Cuckoo so far this year .

I usually hear one in April, someone locally appears to have done I am pleased to see..

Lucky Cass I live in the middle of fields next to woodland, the ideal habitat for cuckoos so I would have expected to hear one by now

I will continue to listen intently and I may then be as luck as the rest of you

I understand the number of Cuckoos is falling and hearing them at all may become a rarity
