Name Your Favourite Male and Female Singer.

Taking up Longfellow's thread who are your all-time favourite male and female singers?
For me they are Frank Sinatra and Sarah Vaughan. Both were supreme at their art.

Alan this question is really unanswerable I just love so many singing artists .
At this moment in time and that could change so easily I would have to say Celine Dion and Elvis Presley two greats who have put a lot of years in the game with various styles of music and in different era's.

Hell they even got to sing together.

For me my favourite male singer is Roy Orbison - there is no competition.

For female, it would have to be Linda Ronstadt.

Unfortunately the former is no longer with us and the latter can no longer sing due to Parkinson's disease, but I own all their records and their music is never far from my ears!
