Bit of a blow today . We knew it was on the cards the Linden Tree was closing but didn't expect it to be over weekend . We hadn't made any plans so a day in for us. Its a shame, lots of locals used it

The Linden Tree has been going for years-sad to see places closing after a long time.Hope you find another place you like for your lunches Jac.
Frosty first thing now it's quite dismal.
The Nutcracker was fantastic last night, one thing spoiled it-Darcy Bussel(sp) going on about it at the beginning and during the interval, can't stand her voice.

Glad you enjoyed Rhosyn ,
Its the parking that's the problem with choosing another lunch venue. White Rose is favourite so maybe we will have to get used to getting a taxi ?
Pouring down with rain .Tesco and granddaughter have been so a lazy one now

What a lot of rain we've had-someone reported that 4ins of it fell on the village in 24hrs not a record apparently! No wonder the road out of the village was flooded earlier.
My mouth is still sore but that's to be expected.Living on soup and mashed bananas.
