Bedtime?

Are you a late or early to bed?

Do you like and prefer a set time to go to bed?

Does your bedtime vary just slightly?

Or does it vary enormously? (anything from 11.00 p.m. - 3.00 a.m.)!

Re: Bedtime?

I`m early to bed-often soon after 9pm maybe later in the winter months as I don`t get up so early.

In the summer I get up around 06.00hrs-it`s easier to garden before it gets too warm

Re: Bedtime?

Wow, 9.00 p.m. sounds early OG. But obviously getting up early requires your beauty sleep.

(PS. - Don't laugh but just thought of a new topic opposite to "Bedtime" of course)!!!

I like to be in bed by 10pm, if not earlier.

Re: Bedtime?

I went to bed at eleven last night but I think that is the first time I have been in bed before midnight for months. Invariably it is nearer one in the morning and I get up at about 7.30 a.m.

Re: Bedtime?

When I was a young and an undergrad student I hoped I would be in bed by 10pm-failing that I just went back to my accommodation

Re: Bedtime?

I rarely go to bed before midnight, if I do I usually have to get up again as I'm unable to get to sleep ....

Re: Bedtime?

Im a part time insomniac so it varies hugely. Often I just sit all night reading or using the computer or watching a dvd. If i'm actually tired enough to sleep it would generally be about 3-4am.

Re: Bedtime?

If I go to bed too early I can't sleep. When I go to bed, usually after 11.00pm I read and listen to the radio (or my I-pod) for an hour or so. I nearly always wake up at about 3.00-4.00am in the morning, turn the light off (because I went to sleep with it on). I then can't get back to sleep, so the radio/I-Pod goes on again and I doze. I eventually get up at aboout 6.30-7.00am and take the dog out. This broken sleep doesn't seem to do me any harm and its been like this for years. Does this mean I am an insomniac.
